I hope you have come across the new issue of Ghana’s best free magazine, Dust. “It’s everywhere” is their clever slogan (but now I can’t find it on the mag – did I dream it?) and it is true as you can pick it up in different places, but also read it online: Dust December Issue 2010.
The magazine is the brainchild of my friend Chrystal and a bunch of Ghanabloggers are involved: Kobby Graham as editor, Nana Darkoa Sekyiamah as a returning contributor and Esi Cleland as this issue’s featured blogger!
Read it to get a glimpse of the cool, cultural, urban Ghana that also exists along the more traditional images of my home country.Sharing is caring!
last week on a bus trip from Cape Coast to Accra, I found a copy of Dust magazine, giving me a better insight into Urban life in Accra. As a (European) resident from Tamale (and with no disrespect), I was very positively shocked about the creativity and profesionalism in this magazine. I am looking forward to future issues of your friends’ work.
Yes, isn’t it a pretty great mag?
Still enjoying it! I have written down my first impressions, hopefully this doesn’t sound too patronizing, but I got to admit that it has really given me a new view on Ghanaian creativity.
And I got to know some good blogs to follow from now on 🙂
Where can one find copies of the mag?
